When I drank with my boyfriend’s colleagues

My boyfriend works as a programmer. I will talk about when I drank with his colleagues the other day. I was heading to his colleague’s home using Google map and it was minus 3 degrees. Suddenly, my phone shut down lol. If the meeting place was a restaurant, I could have asked people. But it was colleague’s house lol. I didn’t remember my boyfriend’s phone number. I had no choice but to go back to my home. My phone suddenly started working again in the metro. I looked it up on the internet and iPhones are not working properly when it's less than 0 degree. Also, it was written that when we go out, we should shut down the phone when it's less than minus 4 degrees. 

Anyways, I could arrive at the meeting place. There was 8 persons that were my boyfriend’s colleagues and their girlfriends/wives. They are from various countries like China, Belgium, Canada and Japan. I wonder if it happens that in Japan, people bring their wife/girlfriend to company’s drinking party. 

At first, we drank wine but I feel Japanese often drink beer. It’s one of the culture differences. My boyfriend’s boss always takes his dog to the company's office. So of course the dog joined us lol. I heard the dog wears coat in the winter. 

Everyone have been to Japan so they like Japan. We went to Japanese restaurant after drinking at the colleague’s house. I don’t know about Japanese sake but my boyfriend’s senior told me: "This sake is so delicious". He knows more than me even if I’m Japanese lol. 

I felt different compared to Japan because my boyfriend’s senior pour sake to everyone. In Japan, it’s usually new employee’s job. Like ordering food, pour alcohol to boss’s glass. But here boss did everything in his company. My boyfriend said: "We are friends when we are out of the company". It’s really different culture with Japan. 

Everyone were so great people and I had great time with them.
